Holi Song

Hundreds of Hindus are expected to flock at Sanatan Shiu Mandir in Rewa Street, Suva tonight to sing Holi songs.
Holi mela celebrations began with prayers last night and Holi songs will be sung by different religious groups from Suva, Navua and Nausori.
Holi songs are locally produced and sung in groups a month before the actual Holi festival.
Holi is a festival when people smear each other with bright colored powders and water.
Meanwhile, the lighting of bonfire will take place this Saturday on the eve of Holi which is symbolic of triumph of good over evil.
