The Wild Bunch (1969)

In the Wild Bunch the movie opens with a group of aging outlaw's final score, a bank robbery. The event concludes with a violent and overtly bloody shootout that would generally mark the finale of a movie. This is correct in that it marks the finale of an era, for the characters and the world they live in. They simply can no longer keep up, the times are changing, technology advancing, and they're style of life is getting left behind in the dust that they spent so long galloping through. They abandon their careers for the simpler life of retirement. They enjoy this time, they live their fantasies. During this time the law is always on their tracks, bounty hunters. The further into their fantasy they get, the closer their demise seems to get. When one of their own is captured they are faced with the choice of escape or what is certainly a suicide mission to attempt and free their fallen behind comrade...

Enam Jahanam (1969)

Di sebuah kampung bernama Pekan Saroja terdapat enam orang lelaki yang membentuk kumpulan Enam Jahanam. Mereka melakukan pelbagai kejahatan seperti merompak, memperkosa dan membunuh penduduk kampung untuk mendapatkan kekayaan dan memuaskan nafsu jahat mereka. Setelah berjaya mengumpul harta yang begitu banyak, mereka bersetuju untuk menghentikan kegiatan jahat mereka dan membawa haluan masing-masing dengan menggunakan kekayaan tersebut. Oleh kerana sifat tamak mereka, kumpulan Enam Jahanam mengambil keputusan untuk melakukan rompakan terakhir mereka di kampung Pekan Menara. Di situ tinggal saudagar Tantari bersama isterinya Masmera. Tantari membuka kedai menjual pakaian dan kain-kain. Pada malam rompakan tersebut, Tantari telah keluar atas urusan perniagaan yang penting. Secara kebetulan, Tantari dan isterinya telah berjanji lebih awal dengan seorang tukang gambar untuk mengambil gambar mereka berdua. Oleh kerana Tantari tiada, Masmera bergambar seorang diri. Ketika tukang gambar memetik kameranya, kumpulan Enam Jahanam masuk ke kedai Tantari dan berjaya dirakam oleh kamera tersebut. Tukang gambar tersebut telah dibunuh dengan kejam sementara Masmera diperkosa dan turut dibunuh. Apabila Tantari pulang, tukang gambar sempat menunjuk ke arah Masmera dan kameranya sebelum dia meninggal dunia. Setelah gambar tersebut dicuci dan dicetak, kelihatan wajah Enam Jahanam yang bertanggungjawab terhadap kematian isterinya. Tantari yang pernah menuntut ilmu pendekar berazam untuk menghapuskan Enam Jahanam berpandukan gambar tersebut. Dalam perjalanannya dia mendapat pertolongan daripada Damburi yang muncul secara mencurigakan...
