Bukit Kepong (1982)

Story of the struggle of the police force and local communities in the Bukit Kepong, Johor against the communists in 1950. The highlight of the battle occurred on February 23 at the Bukit Kepong police station, which has 18 members. The film reflects the indomitable spirit shown by the police, although they were attacked by 180 communist terrorists, but they keep fighting until the last drop of blood to defend the country.

Kami (1982)

The film is about two young runaway teenagers who meet in the city after leaving their respective homes in different states. Tookoo (Sudirman) the elder of the two, who was first in the city, "adopts" Din (Zulzamri) and as their relationship develops, is both big brother and father to Din. And as the film progresses we see how Tookoo dreams of being a successful pop singer, and how he and Din survive in the city, collecting recyclable items for sale. We are touched by what these two teenagers go through in the concrete jungle of the city as they are bullied by gangs who rob them of their hard-earned money, cheated by dishonest employers who do not pay them and traumatised by over-zealous police who arrest Tookoo by mistake.

Swamp Thing (1982)

Dr. Alec Holland, hidden away in the depths of a murky swamp, is trying to create a new species - a combination of animal and plant capable of adapting and thriving in the harshest conditions. Unfortunately he becomes subject of his own creation and is transformed . . . Arcane, desperate for the formula attempts to capture the Swamp Thing. An explosive chase ensues that ultimately ends with a confrontation between Holland and a changed Arcane.
