1 Litre of Tears (2005)


After the tears are shed, a new day begins… Adapted from the same-titled novel, 1 Litre of Tears is based on the true story about a girl’s long fight with an incurable disease. A collection of her diary entries, chronicling her experiences and passion and perseverance for life, were published in 1986, and the book immediately became a bestseller. Her inspiring story was adapted into both a hit TV series starring Sawajiri Erika and a moving film directed by Okamura Riki. Promising new actress Asae Onishi stars as the film’s tragic heroine, while Kazuko Kato portrays her supportive mother. Keep the tissue box near, as 1 Litre of Tears promises to touch the hearts of viewers with its tragic story and universal sentiments. One day on her way to school, middle school student Aya (Asae Onishi) suddenly falls to the ground. 35 and Ticking (2011)


Centers around the lives of Victoria, Zenobia , Clevon, and Phil -- all friends approaching the age of 35 and struggling to build the families they've always dreamed of. While Zenobia (Parker, "Soul Food," "Brown Sugar") is still looking for a man, Victoria (Jones, "Castle," "One on One") is married to a man who doesn't want children. Clevon (comic Hart, "Not Easily Broken," "40 Year-Old Virgin"), meanwhile, is too geeky to get a woman, and Phil (Keith Robinson, "Dreamgirls") is already married with children, but his wife is not very interested in being a mother. All four of them try to rectify their romantic lives and futures while their biological clocks tick away.

1957: Hati Malaya (2007)


Five young Malaysians - Hali, Salmi, Rafik, Ani and Ang Lee - have been assigned to do a picture book on '1957'. While two of them grudgingly carry out the request made by their publisher, one of them takes on the task enthusiastically. Along the way, they find themselves immersed in the characters, emotional moments, identifying with and finding meaning in the struggle of '1957'. They weave the story of independence by transporting themselves back to the past. Ordinary Malaysians who fell in love and found their love for the country override their personal emotions. The present characters find new meaning to the word 'sacrifice' and 'Merdeka'.

9 September (2007)


Nia (Fasha Sandha) is a very cute tomboy girl who was recently dumped by her boyfriend. Since then, she has kept hatred towards men. She lets out her anger on Kogi (Pierre Andre), an honest and kind guy who becomes an easy target for Nia to bully. They first met when Nia accidentally entered Kogi's house and since then many coincidental meetings happen between them. No matter how many times Kogi is bullied by Nia, he puts on a strong front and is a gentleman most of the time until they eventually fall for each other, but this was cut short when Adrian (Fahrin Ahmad), Nia's ex-lover, enters her life again. Nia is still head over heels in love with Adrian but her love for him isn't like it was before. One day, Nia decides to fly off to Tokyo with her boyfriend for a year. When she returns home, her feelings towards Kogi becomes so overwhelming that she searches for him but failed. When she finally finds him again a shocking surprise awaits her.

4 Madu (2010)


Azlan (Saiful Apek), a chalet worker in Bagan Lalang, receives an envelope requesting him to go to a law firm in Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, he is surprised to discover that he has a twin brother named Azrul, whom he meets for the first time. The reason they are gathered is because of their late-father's will, which states certain requirements that needs to be fulfilled in order for them to inherit RM50 million. Among the odd requests listed is that they must get married to their first wife within three months and make sure their second wife was an orphaned child.

13 Hours in a Warehouse (2008)


As five underworld heavies settle in for an all night stay at an abandoned warehouse and former film studio, a series of bizarre and unsettling occurrences quickly lead them to believe they are not alone. It was supposed to be a simple night of babysitting a single hostage, but when a series of numbers began to appear on the walls things soon took a dark turn. Later, after the hostage escapes, the perplexed thugs not only learn that there is a rat in the ranks, but also discover the unsettling nature of the films that were shot in the warehouse. Now, as terror takes hold, the thieves are about to discover that they are being stalked from the shadows and that their odds of living to see daybreak are shrinking with each passing minute.

"3,2,1 Cinta" follows a tomboyish girl named Sam (Diana Amir) who recently enrols in a university to further her studies. It is then when she meets her close friend back from high school, Fariz (Pierre Andre). During their hangout sessions, Sam realises that with her rough behaviour, she might just be single till her death. Out of nowhere, Sam meets Nazril (Farid Kamil) who happens to be the most eligible guy in the whole campus. She feels challenged when Fariz tells her that Nazril only entertains pretty girls, thus she goes on a mission to woo Nazril.
